Elder Law Florida

The Elder Law Mission

We assist elders, disabled individuals and their families to obtain the government funded financial aid available to pay for home health care, assisted living and nursing home care. To create long-term care plans and estate plans which offer solutions and direction for our clients throughout Florida.

Medicaid Planning And Applications

Few Floridians can afford to pay for care in the Nursing Home, Assisted Living or at home. Elder Law, P.A. is dedicated to assisting our clients to qualify and access these important Medicaid entitlement programs.

Veteran Pensions + Aid And Attendance

Elder Law, P.A. assists qualified wartime Veterans in need of assistance with their daily care needs to successfully apply for the special monthly pension with Aid and Attendance; an invaluable financial benefit designed to help pay for the cost of caregivers, assisted living facilities and nursing homes.

Long-Term Care Planning

Many elders, disabled individuals and their families find peace of mind when they understand the future care needs and financial assistance which may be available to assist with those needs. Understanding how and when to access assistance can help families be more comfortable with the decisions they make.

Estate Planning And Advance Directives

Elder Law, P.A. assists in the development of written, customized plans for the successful preservation of assets and end-of-life decision-making. Properly executed legal documents ensure that all financial and medical decisions are made in accordance with the clients wishes. Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Surrogate Designation and Living Wills are important estate planning documents.

Elder Law, P.A. assists families and fiduciaries with probate administration. Proper estate planning during one’s lifetime can limit or alleviate the need for a lengthy probate process and tax liability. When probate is necessary, Elder Law, P.A. will work quickly to settle the estate and distribute the assets.
Veteran Pension
Long Term Care & Estate Planning

Today, the average senior will pay at least $3,200 per month to live in an Assisted Living Facility. Nursing Homes charge an average of $8,000 per month. Remaining at home with around the clock Home Health Care costs between $6,000 and $13,000 per month! Many Floridians cannot pay for this type of care without soon depleting their life savings.

Fortunately, there are programs available through Medicaid, Social Security and the Department of Veteran Affairs which can help cover the ever increasing cost of medical care for those who qualify. There are other programs also available but funding is limited.

Unfortunately, the application process for these programs can be difficult and many applicants who attempt the process on their own, are denied. That is why Elder Law, P.A. is here to help Elders, Disabled Individuals and the Care Facilities who are committed to caring for them.

  • This letter is to personally thank you for making good on your promise that your organization would do whatever necessary to obtain the financial assistance we needed for my Mom's care through the Veterans Association and Medicaid Diversion ( Home Health Care).. You directed Marta Strong, to handle our case and we can not say enough wonderful things about her. She has truly gone above and beyond to get these badly needed funds so that we could get the care we needed for my Mom.

  • Dear Marta, I just want to thank you and all of your staff for ALL of your efforts in assisting me with my brother, in a time when I was at a complete loss and in the most distressing position I had ever experienced. In spite of all odds, I believe that my brother received excellent care and I could never have accomplished that without the help of your organization.

  • Dear Staff, I had heard so many wonderful things about your company and it was nice to find out first hand that they were all true. There's no adequate way for me to say thank you for all your help and assistance you and your team have given me over the past year. Your masterful orchestration and management of an incredibly complex situation first regarding my wife and now my sister was and is outstanding.

  • Dear Staff, All too often in our daily lives, we tend to take things for granted and fail to take the time to acknowledge the importance of what others do to help make someone else's life a little better. Thanks to your dedication and hard work, I can truly say that you have made my mother-in-law's life a lot better in her later years, not to mention how much of a load you've taken off our shoulders in having to deal with here day-to-day and long-term needs from New Jersey. I only hope that others will also benefit, as we have, from the phenomenal work you do and the care that you provide.

  • Dear Staff, Just a short note to let you know how much my mom and I enjoyed working with you. At a time of much confusion and uncertainty, you really provided more than just the right answers to all of our questions. Your calming and assuring manner was such a comfort to my mom, and in turn, a comfort to me. Thank you so much

  • Hi Marta, hope all is well. I want to let you know that my mom unfortunately passed away on 9/28. I want to thank you and Elder Law, P.A. for your outstanding work and professionalism. Without you guys I don’t know what I would have done. Elder Law, P.A. came in at the right moment to provide all the necessary paperwork and legal documents needed to get my mom admitted to a nursing home and provide peace of mind to me and my family.
